Caithness Beach Cleans
We started picking up plastic on 3rd March 2019, so far we have picked up 25 UK (Long) Tons
There are various ways that you can become involved in this project. The easiest way is to ensure that you do not add to the litter. You can also help by joining an organised beach clean, or just going for a walk and picking up plastic when you find it. If you want to become more involved then contact us and see what is needed.
Get involved. Join us and help keep our beaches clean!
Kik-Plastic: Kiko Matthews is travelling around Britain by push bike, stopping every day to do a beach clean. This was at John O'Groats.

We don't organise beach cleans as a rule. We ask that you go and enjoy your walk and pick up plastic whilst out.
You can join us on Facebook (see the link below) or on this site by sending your photographs and beach waste weights in to us.
The first two pictures are of an organised beach clean that we helped with. We try to join in on any organised beach cleans that are in our area.
Beach cleans are often organised by the local County Rangers.
Just go out and enjoy the beach - pick up plastic on the way and then weigh it, photograph it and post it to us!
